Deutsches Museum in Munich – the history of computers

Last week I was in Munich, and I didn’t make any presentations there, but I’ve visited a Deutsches Museum, which is one of the oldest and largest (if not the oldest) Science museums in Europe. One thing was particularly interesting – they have a Math section and the History of computers section.

I still find it hard to believe, that something which happened during my life is “history”, so it’s really funny to to see some equipment I was using when I was a student, and to realize that a majority of nowadays students do not really know what is it, and what it was used for.
